Um operário que trabalhava na obra do Alto-forno 3 da Usiminas, em Ipatinga - MG, morreu em decorrência de uma queda de altura na tarde desta segunda-feira (16). A informação foi confirmada ao Plox pela assessoria de comunicação da siderúrgica que o trabalhador foi identificado Genivaldo Fernando da Silva.
Em uma rede social, Genivaldo se apresentava como encarregado de mecânica III na Usiminas Mecânica. Segundo informação passada por parente em uma rede social, Genivaldo, tinha 41 anos, era casado e tinha três filhos.

A Usiminas lamenta profundamente comunicar a morte do colaborador , nesta segunda-feira, 16/10. Ele atuava desde 2022 na obra do Alto-forno 3 da Usina de Ipatinga e veio a falecer em decorrência de uma queda de altura.
