Companheiros,
A gerência de Aciaria da Gerdau Ouro Branco comunicou aos operadores de carga líquida que eles passarão a trabalhar em regime de 12h, devido à falta de mão de obra e que já havia solicitado à empresa a contratação de pessoal, porém, a empresa não liberou.
Por isso, o motivo do turno de 12h.
Informamos o fato à gerência de RH da empresa, que nos respondeu de que esse fato estaria acontecendo nessa segunda quinzena de janeiro, e que, a partir do dia 1º de fevereiro, o turno voltaria à condição normal.
Esperamos que isso realmente aconteça, pois, além de ser uma atividade de alto risco, esses trabalhadores sempre trabalham em estado de pressão.
Fomos informados pelo RH da Gerdau Ouro Branco que, na tarde de ontem, ocorreu um grave acidente na área da aciaria da empresa, envolvendo um trabalhador da empresa Harsco (antiga Sobremetal). O trabalhador sofreu queimaduras na maior parte do corpo e se encontra internado na Fundação Ouro Branco (FOB).
Pelas informações que recebemos de trabalhadores, esse trabalho só poderia ser executado após resfriamento do material, porém, devido o local de armazenagem não ser compatível com a produção da Gerdau Ouro Branco, a empresa Harsco obriga os seus colaboradores a trabalharem com material ainda quente (com temperatura inadequada para o processo).
Esse fato transforma o acidente em esperado e previsto.
É triste, mas, parece a realidade do momento.
Estamos aguardando maiores informações por parte da empresa.
