Companheiros,

É com pesar que informamos mais uma morte. Desta vez, do trabalhador Levindo Costa de Carvalho Neto, da empresa Gerdau, vítima do acidente ocorrido na Coqueria 2 da Gerdau Ouro Branco, no dia 15 de agosto.

Infelizmente, agora completam-se 4 mortes deste brutal acidente, totalizando 9 óbitos de trabalhadores, em menos de um ano.

Este fato torna a Gerdau Ouro Branco campeã mundial em acidentes fatais no setor siderúrgico, em menos de um ano.

Temos que dar um basta urgente nesta situação!

Além destas 4 mortes, ainda temos 4 trabalhadores internados em Belo Horizonte.

É um momento dificílimo para todos.

Estaremos, nesta semana, reunidos com a Diretoria da Gerdau Ouro Branco, oportunidade em que formaremos uma comissão formada por trabalhadores e por diretores do Sindicato, de modo que o próprio trabalhador, “cara a cara”, fale para a Diretoria e RH da Gerdau o que está ocorrendo na planta da Gerdau Ouro Branco.

Companheiros, comissão esta que o Sindicato irá compor com os trabalhadores que se oferecerem e ligarem para o Sindicato; quem sabe, se ouvindo vocês, uma vez que o Sindicato é “alarmista”, as providências sejam efetivamente adotadas.
